Draft Horse Pulls
Sunday
Step back in time and witness the ORIGINAL horsepower! Introduced to the Sublimity Harvest Festival in 1984, the Draft Horse Pull showcases how mechanical farming began. Witness the emotional connection between the driver and these magnificent creatures as teams push their limits and compete for a “full pull.” To qualify for a “full pull,” teams must drag the stone boat with an increasing weight of up to 10,000 pounds for 15 feet. Until the whistle blows, every step counts in this contest of inches.
